Suffering

The doctrine of suffering is hardly justifiable. God does not want us to suffer. Suffering can only be beneficial in so far as it is a reaction to some former debt or karma and should be understood as such and endured. But to take suffering upon oneself in order to please the Creator is objectionable and is usually a result of conceit.
